I am trying to make a small secondhand work wardrobe feel coherent without replacing everything. My work clothes are mostly secondhand, so finding the right size already limits which colors are available. I am hoping to connect what I own before adding more isolated bargains to an already crowded rail. A charcoal jacket and two cream shirts are staying, because they fit well and get worn regularly. I am looking for a sweater next, although checking a huge range of shades is not realistic. Would you compare candidate colors with those existing clothes first, or start with how each looks near your face? One subject behind this question is personal color analysis but I do not want a seasonal category to become a reason to discard clothes that already work. What small comparison would you repeat in a shop, and what notes would make the next visit easier?
