I saved a face shape test to help me think about the terminology. I would use that only as a vocabulary prompt, since an old photograph can hide important details. For example, a shadow may obscure the jaw, while a hairstyle may cover part of the forehead. Each entry would record the date and viewing angle before offering a cautious description of facial proportions. Where the pictures suggest different descriptions, I want the record to make that disagreement easy to understand. What wording would keep these observations useful to relatives without presenting a tentative label as fact?
