  Right — been using this thing for about five months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I'm coming from.
  
  The reason I started using it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn't ever get my head round what an e/w payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I'd just guess and get a shock. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
  
  Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There's also the multiples — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at kelly criterion bet calculator — free, no signup.
  
  What really made a difference is the more serious extras. The implied probability thing which shows you how much the bookie's taking, and there's the kelly staking tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent for when I'm covering two or three runners.
  
  Not all sunshine though. The layout is a bit basic — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it's usable but the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — fine by me but you asked.
  
  Right, that's me. Doesn't cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, try it — it's saved me a fair few dumb bets I'd have regretted.
